The 9 Peak Pro is the slim Suunto: a 43mm, 10.8mm-thin case under sapphire, a 21-day smartwatch battery, and 40 hours of single-band GPS. It has no offline maps — navigation is breadcrumb routes with turn-by-turn prompts — and no dual-band GPS. The Vertical and the Race S have replaced it, and Suunto has confirmed no further software updates are planned. At $249 for the one colourway still on sale, it is a reasonable no-frills training watch if you want something small and can live without maps.
