This is the first Ultra with genuinely new hardware since 2024, and it goes after the old one’s weak spots. The titanium case is 12% thinner, the cell is 35% bigger at 800mAh, and new fast charging gets you to about 40% in half an hour. Oddly, Samsung still quotes the same 80 hours with always-on display off as before; in testing it beat that comfortably, so read the claim as conservative. The 5000-nit figure is a localized peak, and full-screen it measures nearer 3000. EN13319 certification makes it a genuine recreational dive instrument to 40m, though decompression limits wait on a Mares app due later this year. In the US it comes one way: 47mm, LTE, $699.99.
