The Galaxy Watch Ultra is a clear pivot toward outdoor and endurance use — titanium case, 10ATM, multi-band GPS, and a customizable Quick Button for workouts. Battery beats the standard Watch 7 but still trails the Apple Watch Ultra 2. Samsung refreshed it in July 2025 with 64GB of storage and One UI 8 Watch; the 2024 model described here is the 32GB original.

Strengths

  • Titanium case + sapphire crystal
  • 10ATM and IP68 rating
  • Quick Button is genuinely useful

Tradeoffs

  • Battery still well behind a Garmin
  • Squircle case is divisive
  • Best paired with a Galaxy phone
