The Classic is the Watch 8 in a stainless steel case with the physical rotating bezel back, which remains the best way to move around a small screen without smearing it. Internally the two are the same watch — same chip, same Antioxidant Index, ECG, BIA, and blood pressure — with storage doubled to 64GB and a programmable Quick Button added. The catch is mass: 63.5g without a strap is roughly double the aluminium Watch 8, which you notice most when sleeping in it. Battery is no better despite the larger case.
