The Ring 4 has been superseded by the Ring 5, but Oura still sells it and is discounting several finishes. The case for it is price, not software: Live Activity workout tracking, GLP-1 insights, and — in the US — Health Radar’s Blood Pressure Signals and Nighttime Breathing all reached the Ring 4 alongside the Ring 5. What you give up is size and stamina. The Ring 4 is 7.9mm wide and 3.3–5.2g against the Ring 5’s 6.09mm and 2–2.7g, and it lasts five to eight days rather than six to nine. It does come in a wider 4–15 size range, which matters if the Ring 5’s 6–13 does not fit you. The $5.99 monthly membership is mandatory on both.
