This is Motorola’s first Wear OS watch since 2019, and the part worth talking about isn’t Motorola’s. The health layer is licensed from Polar — Nightly Recharge, Sleep Plus Stages, Serene breathing, Activity Score, and a Running Coach — sitting on top of the full Google stack: Play Store, Wallet, Gemini, and LTE on an eSIM. At $349.99, that is cellular for the Pixel Watch 4’s starting price. The trade-offs are underneath. There is no ECG and no skin temperature, so you get Polar’s recovery analytics without the sensors Google and Samsung now fit as standard. The chip is the older Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1, the two-day battery claim assumes the always-on display is off, and there is one size: 46mm.
