Apple Watch Ultra 3
Apple’s endurance flagship. 42 hours, and it can message a satellite with your phone at home.
The Ultra 3 closes the two gaps the Ultra 2 left open. Satellite is built into the watch — Emergency SOS, Messages, and Find My all work with no iPhone in range, which is the first time an Apple Watch has been genuinely self-sufficient somewhere remote. And battery goes from 36 hours to 42, with 14 of those available as a full-GPS workout. The 49mm titanium case now carries the largest display Apple makes, running LTPO3 for a 1Hz always-on refresh at up to 3000 nits, over dual-frequency GPS. Health coverage is everything Apple offers, including hypertension and sleep apnea notifications. It is still not a Fenix on battery, but it is no longer in a different category.
