Amazfit Helio Ring

The Helio Ring launched at $299 with two paid tiers stacked on top. Four months later Amazfit cut it to $199, made the software free for life for new and existing owners, and refunded anyone who had already subscribed — which remains the most direct answer anyone has given to Oura’s membership model. The ring itself is 3.7g of titanium and resin rated to 10ATM, with a PPG sensor, temperature sensing, and unusually for the category an EDA electrodermal sensor driving emotion tracking alongside HRV. It syncs into the same profile as any Amazfit watch, so the data merges rather than competes. Four days of battery is the weak point, and with four sport modes and no GPS this is a recovery device, not a training one.
