The Balance Ultra is the Balance 3 for people who wanted the line to feel premium. The bezel, frame, buttons, and caseback are grade-5 titanium, there is a fifth button, and a 780mAh cell pushes typical battery to 30 days with 50 hours of dual-band GPS — T-Rex Ultra 2 endurance in a less rugged shell. Everything else matches the Balance 3: a 1.5-inch, 3,000-nit sapphire AMOLED, flashlight, 64GB, dive certification to 45m, golf course maps, and HybridCharge. Despite the bigger battery, at 57g it is lighter than the stainless Balance 3. The catch is value. $599.99 is $150 over the titanium Balance 3 for nine more days of battery and a button, and the 51.8mm case is large on anything but a big wrist.
